ABOUT ME

Born in South Africa and now capturing the serene beauty of Ireland, I’m Aidan – the eye behind AVP Photography. My lens is drawn to simplicity: quiet compositions, sculptural natural forms, and the poetry of reflection. Every image I take is an invitation to pause, breathe, and connect with the world’s quieter moments.
I come from a family of artists. My mother works with textiles, paint and mosaic; my father and brother work with sculpture.
After years of a desk job, I felt the urge to return to creative pursuits. Photography was the closest to hand. I want to capture those special vistas that convey the real feeling of a place: be it Dublin, wild European spaces or the vast open beaches of South Africa.
I often find myself drawn to the idiosyncrasies of cityscapes, to reflective moments in urban environments; to unnoticed sculptural buildings.
Explore the gallery, and if a piece speaks to you, consider bringing it into your space. Each print is more than a photo – it is a window into calm, still beauty. I believe art is part of a dialectic between the artist, the viewer and the context they find themselves in.
CORE
Using my Canon 600D, I seek out nature’s hidden symmetry and soul – whether it’s morning mist rolling over a lake, light folding around a leaf, or the stillness in a tree’s silhouette. My style leans into minimalism and mood, turning everyday moments into timeless photographic prints.

Timeless Simplicity
Inspired by the quiet beauty of nature and form, my work values minimalism that speaks volumes.

Artistic Integrity
Every print reflects a vision – an instant in time. I preserve that instant without compromise, ensuring authenticity in every captured frame.

Bearing Passion
My prints aren’t just products – they are moments made tangible. I help people connect with nature, with memory, and ignite passion through art.
